Welcome to St. Benedict Center
The St. Benedict Center for Early Childhood Education is an affiliate of New Directions, serving children age infant to kindergarten. In collaboration with Greater Louisville Head Start, operated by Family & Children’s Place in partnership with Community Coordinated Child Care, St. Benedict offers federal Head Start curriculum for low-income families. The core premise and guiding philosophy of Head Start is that :
